Howard "H.P." Lovecraft.

Howard Phillips Lovecraft

He was born in August 20, 1890 at Providence, Rhode Island and died in March 15, 1937 at the age of 46.
He is one of the most important author and writer of horror, fantasy and science fiction novels.
The main themes in his stories are cosmic horror, civilization under threat, fate, forbidden knowledge. He loved the idea of intrusion into our world of weird things and mysterious abysses that the mind can not decipher.


When he was young he had health problems and for that reason, he didn't went to school. That's why he started to read books at home and to create his "weird" way to writing. His writings are based on the idea of a long time ago the earth was populated by other races and they were expelled. But they live in outer space, hoping that one day, they will return to earth to conquer it again.

Some of his famous novels are The Call of Cthulhu, Dagon, The Shadow Over Innsmouth, Polaris, The Necronomicon, The Colour Out of Space.
