First year at the University.

This year was amazing. I met a lot of people, different stories, different lifestyles, but one common goal: To learn English.
Not only learn English, also learn to be a better person in many different ways. The university gave us the opportunity to think and have a point of view about different topics.
The diversity of people in my classroom it's awesome. You can find a lot of stories, points of view about life, hobbies, etc. Besides that, we can share and enjoy with everybody. We can drink together, laugh, play, cry, etc. Despite knowing each other for a year, we are like a "Mini Family" with our pros and cons.

The only thing that i didn't like about this year, were the "Sleepy Subjects". 3 Hours of a sleepy subject per semester! That was horrible!. All the classmates were sleeping with blankets and pillows!, the coffee machine wasn't near us!

The teachers were great, all of them. It's nice that they have the right knowledge and a good sense of humor. They know how to rock!

If i'm still alive the next year... I will still living :)

The last book that i read was...

The last book that I read was “The Shadow Over Innsmouth” by H.P. Lovecraft. In this book the government raids the bay harbor town known as Innsmouth and take people who are members of a satanic cult. A journalist travels to the bay harbor town to investigate. He wants to know about the strange myths and stories that surround the place.
He arrives to the town and sees a desolator landscape. Empty streets, closed windows, a smell in the air like a rotten fish, and a few people who have the aspect also known as “The Innsmouth look”. The people have big eyes like a frog, pale blue skin, unusual size of body parts, etc.
He learns from a local drunk man a story about weird things swimming across the sea in the nights. The things kidnap citizens of Innsmouth and take them to a reef known as The Devil`s Reef.
The journalist is forced to stay in a hotel the rest of the night because the bus is no longer available until the next morning.
At night, the journalist hears steps and growls outside his room. He knows that the things are going to kill him, so he escapes by jumping out the window.
With all the fear of the world and scariest as hell, he escapes during night avoiding contact with the things.
Finally he arrives home safe and sound. But later he begins to feel sick and see something awful in the mirror! He is evolving into “The Innsmouth Look”!
At the end he realizes that he has the legacy of Innsmouth in his veins… He is one of the weird things that swim across the sea.

Technoholic?

As you can read above this entry, technoholic is a person who:

- Buys a new gadget (smartphone, notebook, etc) and one and a half week later is tired of it and wants something new.
- Buy technological magazines as fast as they're put in sale.
- Downloads software like a maniac and at a certain point of the day, he doesn't know what to do with it.
- Arrive at home (listening music, with the phone in his hand, talking about new technology), and the only thing that he does, is turn on the computer and spend the rest of the day in it.

If you are one of them, you should try to get a life. You must realize that is a world outside your house. Outside your house are people, a society, a civilization!
Let the ambition for technological stuff away and spend your money in other stuff. For example:

- Buy a ticket to travel to another country.
- Buy a present for your girlfriend/boyfriend.
- Buy a phone card and call your family.
- Buy food for your freezer (YES! FOOD!) I guess that your ambition for technological things has left the freezer empty.

Wise advices from a wise man ;)

Howard "H.P." Lovecraft.

Howard Phillips Lovecraft

He was born in August 20, 1890 at Providence, Rhode Island and died in March 15, 1937 at the age of 46.
He is one of the most important author and writer of horror, fantasy and science fiction novels.

Hi! I'm NOT Hi Man...

Me, Myself and I...

Hi! I'm not Hi Man. My name is Marcel Gutierrez Castro and I am 21 years old.
I live in Santiago (Cough!, Cough! (Pollution)) but besides that, i like practicing sports in the open air (Cough!...)

I love music, playing musical instruments, creating music, drawing, visiting gallery arts, etc. As you see, I'm an artistic person. I am also very creative, that's why the wheels in my brain are in constant motion. Always spinning round and round and thinking.

I like reading Horror, Supernatural, Science Fiction and History Books, watching movies and a lot of series.

I want to become an English Teacher because the English Level in Chile is poor and students don't pay attention to the classes.
Presidents always say that Chile is on the way to becoming a developed country. But to do that, first we have to pay attention to education issues... Without education, we are nothing.

Thank You.
